Rivas has been linked to Ejea since the XIII century. It was precisely then when this church began its construction. Its ground plan corresponds to that of the original church. This church is dedicated to Saint Michael. The construction was held back for several reasons and was completed by the end of the XVIII century. Icons of the two patron saints of Rivas, Saint Victorián and the Virgin Mary of the Angels, are kept inside the church among others: Saint Michael, Saint Anthony and La Dolorosa (Lady of the Sorrows).
