ORIGINS

The first colonists settled in December, 1962. People from Novillas, Ejea, Gallur, Alfocea, Santa Isabel, Uncastillo and Tauste moved to inhabit this territory. It was the last of the colonization villages to begin its journey.

ARTISTIC HERITAGE

The church and the rest of the buildings stand out because of their architectural style, typical of the colonization towns. It combines the use of stone with other materials, which gives a very picturesque appearence to the urban environment.

NATURE

El Sabinar is very close to the natural environment of La Barneda. From there you have access to hiking and bicycle routes. You can also enjoy fishing in La Estanca de El Sabinar, a fishing pond.
