They represent another area with ecological importance in Ejea, between the plain and the pre-pyrenean area. Here we find a very diverse fauna (Dupont’s lark, little bustard, wild boar, black-bellied sandgrouse and stone curlew) and flora (prickly saltwort, esparto grass, rose and rosemary). Some of its features are: hunting reserve, hiking, mountain bike riding and ecological photography. In La Marcuela, visitors can finde “aguarales”, very curious geographic features in the ground caused by water erosion. There are other interesting spots to visit, like the Cabaña del Toro (Bull Hut).
